No make-up lessons or tuition credits are given; however, in the event, a student needs to miss a lesson and the instructor can find an extra time slot within one week of the missed lesson, a make-up lesson option may be determined by owner. In regard to Hurricane closings, one make-up will be allowed per season. In regard to cancellation due to an emergency by the instructor, a make-up lesson will be permitted.
TARDINESS:
If a student is 10 minutes late to a lesson, the instructor is not required to teach the lesson.
SICKNESS:
We understand children become ill. In this event, please keep them at home as a courtesy to others. In the event you cancel due to sickness 1 make-up lesson per semester is permitted pending a slot opening up in the instructor’s schedule. The rescheduled lesson must be done the following week or the lesson is lost.
ATTITUDE OF THE STUDENT:
We strive to offer the BEST course in music education available anywhere! We expect and require our students to have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Students with a negative attitude will be asked to leave.
PRACTICING:
All students are required to practice the week’s music assignment daily (or as assigned by the instructor) until the next lesson. Parents must accept their responsibility in seeing to it that the student does the required practicing. Consistent lack of practicing is grounds for dismissal.
LATE PAYMENT PENALTY:
A $20 late payment penalty is added to any account that is due on the first of the month but not received by the fifth of the month. Failure to remit the late payment penalty and the current tuition payment before the 30th of the month will necessitate in dismissal of the student.
CANCELLATION OF COURSE:
If for any reason, the student quits the course before completion, payment through the end of the month in which the student terminates is due. 30-day written notice is required when a student leaves the course. If a student quits at the end of the month, the next month’s tuition is due and the student has the option to continue lessons that last month of payment.

CAMPER SUPPORT AND SAFETY POLICY:
Our performing arts academy is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all campers. Due to the fast-paced and varied nature of our camp activities, we may not be equipped to meet the needs of children requiring specialized support. Therefore, we do not accept children with special needs, defined as those requiring additional support due to physical, emotional, behavioral, as our staff is not qualified or adequately trained to provide the necessary care. Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of all our participants, and we make these decisions with the best interest of every child in mind.
